The Ivie strengthens its management team
Pilar Chorén is the new Managing Director; Matilde Mas is Director of International Projects; and Joaquín Maudos, Research Deputy Director
The Ivie’s management board has created the new posts of Research Deputy Director and Director of International Projects, which have been taken up by Joaquín Maudos and Matilde Mas respectively. Also, Pilar Chorén has been appointed Managing Director of the Institute.
These changes in the Ivie’s organizational chart take place in the context of the Spanish economic crisis which requires to sustain the efforts of adaption to the new situation.
Internationalization and diversification
In recent years, the Ivie has taken different measures to deal with the crisis that require adjusting its economic structure in order to maintain its viability and increasing the sources of funding through the diversification of institutions that collaborate with the Institute, mainly through its internationalization.
