The power of alliances
13/04/10.- In a world of growing market and product complexity, alliances can provide firms with a powerful avenue to focus on what to do best and rely upon dedicated partners with other complex inputs, according to Ranjay Gulati, professor at the Harvard Business School. At the same time that alliances can be tremendously beneficial, they do not come without risks. In this light, it is important for firms to learn how to manage their alliances for success. Gulati exhorts researchers to do more research on this important topic.
Gulati participated in the 5th Workshop on Trust within and between Organizations, held in Madrid with the collaboration of BBVA Foundation and Ivie.
