Firms in Spain
"We do have innovative firms with international expertise but this is not enough for the size and characteristics of the Spanish economy." This is one of the messages given in this video by Vicente Salas, professor at the University of Zaragoza. The economist also speaks of two important concepts for firms: organizational capital and entrepreneurship capital, in other words, what allows a firm to be flexible, adaptive and innovative and it's ability to decide what to do in each situation. Among other things, Salas also reflects on the influence of trade unions over organization capital.
Vicente Salas participated in the BBVA Foundation-Ivie Seminar 2011 Structural reforms to restore growth.
