Once again, Ivie’s press room has developed a special Annual Report for the media

Here are some of Ivie’s 2011 figures:

• 37 research projects, commissioned by other institutions, have been carried out on topics such as the Spanish University, the Spanish banking sector, productivity, the employment of young people or the challenges the Spanish economy faces.
• The Ivie has been involved in 5 international networks: INDICSER, Competitiveness, ICTNET, KLEMS and Wolpertinger.
• During 2011, the Ivie has organized 11 seminars and scientific meetings on: Spanish competitiveness, the restructuring of the Spanish banking sector or the structural reforms needed by the Spanish economy to regain growth, among other issues.
• Several of the 12 databases generated by the research undertaken in the Institute have been updated during 2011.
• In 2011, 140 publications, books and articles in Spanish and foreign journals, by the Ivie researchers and technicians have been issued. Also, 37 working papers have been published.

All these activities have been carried out by the Ivie’s team (46 people) and 101 collaborators, who participated in them. More details on the Ivie’s activities can be found in the 2011 Annual Report, which is available in pdf and Flash formats.

Once again, the Ivie’s press room has published a new special edition of the Ivie’s Annual Report for the media (pdf, Flash). This brief document, specially designed for journalists, contains information on who are the Ivie researchers and what kind of research projects are carried out in the Institute, as well as other information of general interest.
