Abstract: One of the challenges facing mankind today is how to feed a growing population without damaging the planet. Humans must think of the current needs while not forgetting that today’s decisions can affect future generations. The key point is to find the balance between intensification and sustainability, two concepts often seen as contradictory that require feedback through innovation.
